About

My work’s a direct extension of a long-standing commitment to inclusive, collaborative art. As an outsider, I’ve spent decades working alongside my fellow outsiders—and that experience has shaped everything I do. I try to centre a mix of perspectives and lived experiences with honesty and humour—often sharp, sometimes silly, but always respectful. I use noir-style satire to tell bigger stories, combining hand-drawn images with digital work to create playful narratives that challenge prejudice and spark empathy. The characters I create aren’t looking for pity or applause—they’re there to reveal the cracks in the systems around us. I keep coming back to themes of agency, perception, and care—finding funny, subversive ways for people to push back when things need to change.

I start projects and often have several things on the go at once. Whilst not everything gets finished straight away, each piece is part of an evolving practice. I see it as a creative process that values exploration just as much as completion.
